For semaglutide, the public three-, six- and twelve-month totals are $327, $534 and $948. For tirzepatide they are $477, $834 and $1,548. Dividing those totals by their terms produces the advertised equivalents. It does not establish that the charge is collected in independent monthly installments.

The comparison should therefore show both dimensions: money due and time covered. A lower unit price may be less useful to someone who needs a shorter commitment. That is a practical preference, not a scientific judgment about the medicine.
